A man said that he feels "free" after having life-changing surgery to reduce his 11lb testicles and three-foot penis that left him unable to a normal life including the simplest actions like walking, wearing clothes or going to school.

Horace Owiti Opiyo, from Kibigori, Kenya, is now 20 years old and he first found a cyst on his genitals when was just ten.

The cyst was initially caused by a mosquito bite releasing larvae developing into parasitic worms that blocked Opiyo's drainage system, so his genitalia tissue bloated because fluid accumulated beneath the skin.

Opiyo gave up his school life and became a recluse since he was laughed by his classmates and could afford the expensive surgery.

He reached a local doctor through a viral post on Facebook. He finally had the change to have the surgery to remove the bloated tissue.

Doctors at Jaramogioginga Odinga Hospital diagnosed him with scrotal elephantiasis.

Dr Emmanuel Benge said, "It's a condition in the medical language called lymphedema where you have swelling of the tissues. In this case it's his genitalia, so it's something called elephantiasis."

The hospital arranged him to have two operations: the first one was to remove the scrotum and excess mass, and the second was to reconstruct his penis into a normal shape and size.

After the surgery, Opiyo expressed, "When I got up I was surprised that my body was so light. All the heaviness had gone."

"I'm swimming now. I couldn't go anywhere near the water because of the heaviness of that thing." he added. "Now I can run and I can play football. Now I'm free!"

And more importantly, he found that he could be one day a father the operation. He is now trying to build himself to have a wife.
