An extreme sports enthusiast from Changsha in Hunan, 23-year-old Wu Yongning, died after falling from a skyscraper where he practiced high-altitude stunt.

A 19-minute video showed him sliding and struggling on the edge of the rooftop, and eventually falling down. Yet no one noticed his injury on site, and he died the next day.

On December 8, his girlfriend wrote on her Weibo that Wu had died one month ago, adding that she missed him.

Wu started to make a living since his teens, earning a low pay as a movie extra. He started extreme sports and has since garnered around one million subscribers through his stunts without any safety precautions, including a handstand on the top of a 70-storey building in Chongqing.
