A brutal cat abuse case occurred in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the local time of midnight on the 11th this month. Two Malaysian men were filmed on a CCTV in a laundromat, putting a pregnant cat into a clothes dryer to dry it to death.
The video has been circulating virally on social networking sites, igniting netizens and animal protection groups to be angry and asking the authorities to arrest the two ferocious men.
According to the CCTV footage, the two men found a pregnant cat in the laundromat when they were taking the clothes from dryers. One of them can be seen walking close to the kitten which was lying on the floor and picking it up to put into the machine. The remorseless men even appeared to be laughing at the place.

They pretended to tidy their clothes and left, but later, they came back and inserted coins to activiate the dryer where they locked the cat into. They cat was dried to death and discovered in the morning at around 10 o'clock when another user opened the door of the dryer, while blood can be found in the spinner.

The Malaysian Animal Protection Association reported the case to the police, and published photos and videos to social networking sites, which immediately caused public outrage. The police said that the two suspects were extremely cruel and are now tracking the whereabouts of them.
Local police stressed that their behaviour has violated the local criminal law on killing and mutilating animal provisions, which can cause a fine and a maximum imprisonment for three years.
