The Palestinian death toll in Gaza from ongoing Israeli attacks has surpassed 38,000, health authorities in the Palestinian enclave said on Thursday.

During the past 24 hours, the Israeli army killed 58 and wounded 179 others, bringing the total death toll to 38,011 and injuries to 87,445 since the Palestinian-Israeli conflict broke out in early October 2023, Gaza-based health authorities said in a statement.

The statement indicated that a number of victims are still under rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

In a separate press statement on Thursday, the health authorities warned that the electricity generators at the only remaining main hospital that provides service for patients in Khan Younis and Rafah will stop in the coming hours due to a lack of fuel.

It added that operations had already ceased in certain departments at the Nasser Medical Complex due to a lack of fuel for the generators, calling for urgent interventions from international institutions to provide the required fuel.

Meanwhile, Palestinian media reported that the Israeli army carried out shelling and airstrikes in many places in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, killing dozens of people.

According to reports, Israeli forces attacked the Shejaiya, Al-Daraj and the Al-Tuffah neighborhoods of Gaza City in northern Gaza, the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, and Khan Younis and Rafah in southern Gaza.

On the same day, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that it attacked Israeli forces with mortars near the Shejaiya neighborhood, resulting in the casualties of many Israeli soldiers.

The Brigades also claimed to have used a surface-to-air missile to hit an Israeli helicopter, and together with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, used rockets to hit an Israeli command post and three Israeli tanks.

In the Rafah area, the Al-Qassam Brigades ambushed a group of Israeli soldiers with prepared explosive devices.

A new batch of China Media Group's (CMG) 8K ultra-high-definition (UHD) live broadcast vehicles for the Paris Olympics was unloaded in the Netherlands on Sunday local time, before heading to France.

In addition to the broadcast van in red, an auxiliary vehicle was also disembarked at the Port of Rotterdam, the largest port in Europe.

With a length of 17 meters, a width of 2.5 meters and a weight of 40 tons, the live broadcast vehicle, carrying state-of-the-art broadcast equipment, has very high requirements on the port's lifting capacity.

To ensure smooth unloading, the Port of Rotterdam convened a pre-ship meeting and specifically designed a customized lifting plan. Prior to the actual lift, over two hours were spent testing and adjusting the lifting equipment.

As planned, the broadcast vehicles will run all the way from Rotterdam to Belgium, and sail to Paris. As a leading broadcaster and the international media organization with the most broadcasting rights for the Paris Olympic Games, CMG is set to orchestrate its largest-scale Olympic Games coverage to date.

A production and technical service team of over 2,000 technicians will be responsible for producing pool signals for the four major events: gymnastics, table tennis, badminton, and rock climbing.

Meanwhile, the live broadcast will last over 400 hours, with more than 11,000 hours of high-quality signals for the competitions broadcast and distributed through television channels and new media terminals.

For the first time abroad, CMG's Olympic broadcast production will be delivered entirely in 4K ultra-high-definition.
