Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday afternoon reviewed the Tajik guard of honor, accompanied by Tajik President Emomali Rahmon at a welcome ceremony held in Dushanbe.
At the ceremony, Xi and the guard of honor exchanged greetings in Tajik.
Xi arrived in Dushanbe on Thursday evening for a state visit to Tajikistan at the invitation of Rahmon, after concluding a state visit to Kazakhstan, where he also attended the 24th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
This is Xi's third visit to Tajikistan, with the previous two conducted in 2014 and 2019 respectively.
