Anticipated reforms to reinforce product quality in China would be highly welcomed by businesses and consumers alike, said Kimmo Fuller, an executive for a German vehicle testing technology company.

The 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China concluded its third plenary session on Thursday with the adoption of a resolution that emphasizes further deepening reforms across the board to advance China's ongoing modernization drive.

Fuller, executive vice president of TUV Rheinland, said in an interview with CGTN that the resolution is encouraging, noting that the German company has witnessed increasing progress in products and technology over the past decades in China amid favorable business conditions.

"Generally speaking, we've had a great business environment to work in, really. And so, if there's efforts to have continued stability, influencing, say, regulatory reform even further, that's exciting for us. We don't do everything hinging on regulatory, but that's a critical component of our business. And it's critical for our customers. We do a lot of services which add value above and beyond regulatory requirements. But to understand that there's continued regulatory reform all in the interest of having reliable products within the domestic market in China and also exported to different places in the world, that's exciting to us," the executive said.
