China and Pakistan are poised to mutually benefit from each other's markets, with substantial projects under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) set to bring advantages to both countries, said Mir Salam Khan Jogezai, senior reporter for Pakistan Television.

Jogezai commended the passage of a resolution on further deepening reform comprehensively to advance Chinese modernization at the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, stressing that Pakistan benefits when the Chinese economy prospers.

"Pakistan is keenly interested in China's economic reform, especially in the new trends of trade investment of China, which is also provided for Pakistan. And Pakistan is a very reliable and good friend of China and a close neighbor. So, in the Belt and Road Initiative, the CPEC, which is the flagship project of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in the Belt and Road Initiative. So Pakistan is also a great potential market for China, and China is also a great potential market for Pakistan, especially in the agriculture field, in the environmental field, in the culture exchange and fish, trees and minerals," said the reporter in an interview with China Global Television Network.

Pointing to major collaborative projects in Pakistan, Jogezai highlighted their potential to deliver substantial benefits.

"There are so many projects, especially in CPEC, the Gwadar Deep-sea Port is the major project nowadays.[The New] Gwadar International Airport, which is in my province, is almost completed and I hope in the near future it will be integrated. So it will be become the hub of the air traffic like Dubai, like Qatar. Now in the BRI context, refer to the partnerships that are sustainable, enclosing mutual benefits, not for China, but for the whole world. It involves not only the economic investment but also the development, the social development, the infrastructure development, the people's lifestyle development. So, outcome inclusiveness," Jogezai said.
