The 31st Beijing International Radio, TV and Film Exhibition 2024 (BIRTV2024) concluded on Saturday, after bringing together 506 domestic and international smart equipment manufacturers to showcase their latest technologies, products and applications in the broadcasting and online audiovisual industries.

Notably, nearly 80 percent of the showcased innovations were making their debut at the event.

Held from Tuesday to Saturday, the five-day event drew to it over 57,000 industry professionals from around the world, setting a new attendance record for the exhibition.

With the theme "Omnimedia, Ultra High Definition, Intelligent Integration," BIRTV2024 highlighted the latest technological advancements and industry trends, aiming to empower the broadcasting, television and online audiovisual sectors through innovative solutions.

The exhibition featured three major pavilions and eight specialized zones, providing a comprehensive showcase of the high-quality developments in broadcasting and online audiovisual services.

BIRTV2024 was organized by China Broadcasting International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd., under joint sponsorship by the National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) and China Media Group, the state broadcaster.

Since its inception in 1987, BIRTV has served as a vital platform for promoting industry policy making, showcasing development achievements and innovations, and facilitating international exchanges in the broadcasting and audiovisual sectors.

The event also plays a significant role in driving the adoption of new products, technologies and services, contributing to the ongoing high-quality development of the industry.
