The third edition of Global Artificial Intelligence Summit (GAIN) kicked off in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday under the theme of "leveraging AI for the betterment of humanity."
The three-day summit focuses on eight areas, addressing the role of governments in harnessing AI's potential, the generative AI, the roles of ethics and governance in safeguarding AI development, hardware innovation, and AI applications in industries and urban life.
According to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), over 450 AI experts, policymakers and entrepreneurs from 100 countries and regions join talks, interviews, discussions and debates at the summit.
Saudi Arabia has set AI as one of the key focuses for its economic transition. Since 2020, the summit has been held for three times.

China is promoting high-level opening-up in the financial sector and welcomes foreign-invested enterprises to deepen mutually-beneficial cooperation, Vice Premier He Lifeng said in Beijing on Tuesday.
