The Shenzhou-18 crew members on board China's space station sent special blessings from space on Tuesday to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The crew members, Ye Guangfu, Li Cong, and Li Guangsu, have stayed in space for more than five months and are scheduled to return to Earth later this month. To celebrate the National Day, the three astronauts delivered their heartfelt wishes to the nation and the people in a live broadcast from the Tianhe core module.

"We wish our great motherland prosperity and her people happiness and well-being. Thank you and see you at the Dongfeng landing field!" they said.

During the seven-day National Day holiday which started on Tuesday, the astronauts will maintain a regular schedule, balancing work and rest. They will spend much of their time on scientific experiments, data collection, and the maintenance of the space station's life-support systems.

China launched the Shenzhou-18 manned spaceship on April 25, sending the three astronauts to its space station for a six-month mission.

The Israeli military started what it called "limited, localized, and targeted ground raids" against Hezbollah targets in the border area of southern Lebanon on Monday night according to a statement released by the Israeli Defense Forces on Tuesday.

The statement said the Hazbollah targets are located in villages close to the border and pose immediate threat to the communities in northern Israel.

The Israeli forces operated according to the plan set out by the General Staff and the Northern Command, said the statement, adding that Israeli soldiers have trained and prepared for the offensive in recent months.

It further stated that Israeli air force and artillery supported the ground forces with precise strikes. On Tuesday, Hezbollah released three statements saying they hit targets after conducting bombardments and rockets attacks against Israeli soldiers in northern Israeli or near the temporary Lebanon-Israel border line.

In addition, Hezbollah stated that they used missiles, rockets, and various weapons to conduct 12 rounds of attacks targeting Israeli military bases, assembly points, and settlements on Monday.
