The 23rd China Shantou (Chenghai) Toys and Gifts Expo opened Friday in Shantou City of south China's Guangdong Province, a major toy and gift manufacturing base in the country.   More than 200,000 toys and associated products are showcased at the three-day event, featuring a wide range of categories, including model toys, educational items, toys for infants and various accessories.   The expo also highlights IP exhibitions, supporting accessories sections and toy machinery displays in the toy industry. Products that combine toy manufacturing with AI technology are favored by many exhibitors and visitors.   This year's toy expo introduced an international exhibition area for the first time, attracting 23 overseas toy manufacturers from countries such as Pakistan and South Korea. Nearly 3,000 international buyers were invited to attend, and the number of participating countries and regions increased to 44.   "I see many high-tech products on display, such as robots and AI products. It's amazing. No matter what product I am looking for, I can find it here," said Liviu Rosca, a Romanian buyer.
