As the seventh China International Import Expo (CIIE) is around the corner, exhibit installation for the China Pavilion has largely been completed.
Spanning 1,500 square meters, the pavilion is divided into seven sections, each highlighting China's latest achievements in advancing its modernization and high-level opening-up.
Among the displays are cutting-edge products from such sectors as future internet, deep sea and space exploration, artificial intelligence, new energy, health care, education, sports, and culture. Notable exhibits include humanoid robots, 30-micron-thin flexible foldable glass, and a revolutionary washing-free printing and dyeing machine. "Exhibits that reflect China's progress in new-quality productive forces are heavyweights of this show in the China Pavilion. For instance, we have the Micius quantum satellite and exhibits related to low-altitude airspace flight. These exhibits representing new-quality productive forces not only show new breakthroughs in some sci-tech sectors, but also play pivotal roles in upgrading China's traditional industries," said Liu Dianxun, director of the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce.
The upcoming CIIE, scheduled from Tuesday to Sunday next week, is set to host a large number of exhibitors. More than 657,000 exhibitor passes and 13,000 vehicle passes have been issued so far.
As the world's first national-level import-themed expo, the CIIE is held annually at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.
