Russia said on Sunday that its forces had taken control of one more settlement and launched strikes on various Ukrainian targets, while Ukraine reported successfully repelling multiple Russian assaults along active front lines.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a briefing that Russian troops had gained control of a settlement and attacked targets including a Ukrainian military train used for transporting arms, military airport infrastructure and energy facilities.
The ministry further reported that Russian air defense systems had intercepted Ukrainian missiles, rocket shells, and drones.
On the same day, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that as of Sunday afternoon, there had been over 100 clashes along the front lines, primarily in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk areas. The situation remained tense, and Ukrainian forces had repelled multiple Russian attacks.
