The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) air force's stealth fighters J-35A and J-20 on Friday morning completed their first adaptive training for the upcoming 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in south China's port city of Zhuhai.
Also known as Airshow China, the air show, scheduled for Nov 12-17, has attracted 1,022 companies from 47 countries and regions. Russia, France, the United States, Saudi Arabia and Italy will participate in the biennial aerospace trade show in groups.
The PLA air force announced on Tuesday that its J-35A fighters will debut at the upcoming air show.
The J-35A is a medium size stealth combat plane with multiple roles, and can conduct strikes against targets in air, on land and at sea.
As a new generation of stealth fighter in China, the J-35A features world-class technologies and has good stealth, information and intelligence capabilities.
Moreover, four J-20 stealth fighter jets flew in formation to carry out their first adaptive training in Zhuhai, with two of them landing at the static display area.
The pilots have choreographed new maneuvers for the approaching aerobatic flight, which is expected to put on stunning aerobatic performances for spectators.
During the air show, there will be about four hours of stunt performances every day.
In addition, Russia's Sukhoi Su-57 is also set to take part in the coming Zhuhai Airshow, indicating that it will be the first time in the world that three models of stealth combat jets appear in the same show.
