Themed "People, Business, Prosperity," this year's edition will focus on innovative approaches for the region's most pressing challenges.
In an exclusive interview with China Global Television Network (CGTN) in Beijing, Zhang Shaogang, vice president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), discussed the upcoming visit of a business delegation to the APEC CEO Summit, emphasizing the delegation's diversity and broad representation, and noting that a key focus of this exchange will be on emerging sectors.
The vice president announced that the delegation will include over 120 representatives from more than 60 Chinese companies spanning a range of sectors, including infrastructure, energy, finance, biotechnology, e-commerce, artificial intelligence (AI) and international trade.

Established in 1989, APEC has grown into one of world's largest multilateral trade bodies. Initially composed of twelve members, including the United States, Australia, Japan, and Malaysia, APEC welcomed China in 1991, followed by Peru, Russia, and Vietnam in 1998.
Bringing together around 20,000 participants, including heads of state and dignitaries from 21 member economies across Asia, the Pacific, North America, and South America, APEC aims to foster sustainable economic growth and prosperity in the region.
