The Portuguese version of the third season of "The Classic Quotes by Xi Jinping", a multilingual TV series produced by China Media Group (CMG), will be aired by multiple Brazilian media outlets starting Sunday, coinciding with the Chinese president's state visit to the South American country.

Focusing on the themes of cultural inheritance, ecological civilization, poverty alleviation, and exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, the program features quotes from Chinese literary classics used by Xi in his speeches and articles, allowing the audience to understand more of Xi's political wisdom and profound historical and cultural learning.

The program will be aired by some of Brazil's top media outlets, including national public service broadcaster EBS, the Bandeirantes Group, Box Brazil Media Group and TV Nova Nordeste.

The announcement of the TV series's airing has generated extensive coverage in local mainstream media outlets, from newspaper articles to special TV programs. In addition, starting from Tuesday, the nation's capital Brasilia will be rolling the series' promo clip on jumbotrons of its landmark buildings, as well as on giant outdoor screens at the Brasilia International Airport and on downtown streets.

Xi will pay a state visit to Brazil from Sunday to Thursday at the invitation of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, during which he will also attend the 19th G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro.

Chinese President Xi Jinping left the Peruvian capital Lima on Sunday after concluding his state visit to the country and is now en route to Brazil's Rio de Janeiro.

Xi arrived in Lima on Thursday to attend the 31st APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting and pay a state visit to Peru at the invitation of Peruvian President Dina Boluarte.

The Chinese president is now heading to Brazil for a state visit and to attend the 19th G20 Summit, which will take place in Rio de Janeiro on Monday and Tuesday.

Xi will also hold talks with his Brazilian counterpart Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to discuss bilateral relations and exchange views on international and regional issues of mutual interest, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
