Mahya Mirsadeghi, a vlogger from Iran currently studying in Beijing, has been impressed with China for its safety, convenience, people-centered approach and its people's friendliness.

The Iranian girl is showing a real China to her followers on social media platforms by recording her travels in different places with videos.

While studying and traveling in China, the safe environment encouraged Mirsadeghi to explore the country more with her sister and friends.

"Safety is one of my absolute favorite aspects of living in China. As I told you, I was only 18 when I first came to China, and it was quite hard for my parents to send their 18-year-old daughter to come to a foreign country and study. But China has proved to me several times that it is safe," she said.

Mirsadeghi said she traveled to 12 cities in China with her younger sister and she never felt unsafe.

"Another thing that I really enjoy while living in China is how fast and convenient life here is. I want to show you my shared bike. So, in China, you can find these bikes anywhere. So going here and there in China is quite fast and convenient. There are so many apps that you can use to pay your bills, to buy food and to buy tickets. Anything, literally anything that you want to do in China can be done fully online, using your phone," she said.

Air pollution had been one of the biggest challenges for Beijing, but now it's gone because the government encouraged people to use public bicycles, public buses, and in general, public modes of transportation, according to Mirsadeghi.

Mirsadeghi said that the people-centered approach has shined through Beijing's urban governance, highlighting people's health over profits and removing many polluting facilities.

"And the government also chose people's health over its own profits. Before, there were so many factories inside Beijing. So, they moved all those factories outside Beijing. And through these new policies they were able to reach such blue sky. And this is something that I guess we can learn from China, because where I come from, my city Tehran is also facing air pollution," she said.

Mirsadeghi is also impressed by the inclusiveness and friendliness of the Chinese people.

"Many people think that the most amazing thing about China is its economic growth, or how it is taking [part in] the world. But to me, the most amazing thing about China - the people. I've traveled to over 10 countries and I can speak eight languages. Obviously, I've seen a lot of people, a lot of cultures, but to me, Chinese people are quite special. They love me for who I was (am) and they always respect me and my best friends, and my amazing friends are Chinese, and I have a great time studying with them and hanging out with them. I'm just really thankful to live in such a peaceful and respectful environment. And I want to take this opportunity to thank all of my friends and all Chinese people for being this welcoming and kind towards foreigners," she said.

The Shenzhou-19 crew members, who are currently on board China's space station, will conduct their first extravehicular activities (EVAs) within the next few days, the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) announced on Monday.

Over the past 48 days, the astronauts have accomplished a rotation with the Shenzhou-18 crew, attended to the maintenance and upkeep of the space station platform, ensured the upkeep of the life and health support system, conducted inspections and tests on EVA suits, and prepared for the spacewalk.

The CMSA noted that the crew has participated in system-wide pressure emergency drills, medical rescue exercises and other in-orbit training programs, while also carrying out an array of space science experiments.

The agency confirmed that the Shenzhou-19 crew is in good health and the space station is operating smoothly, providing optimal conditions for conducting EVAs.
