Israeli airstrikes target residential buildings, hospitals in Gaza

The Israeli airstrikes on residential buildings in the Gaza Strip have resulted in extensive destruction and substantial loss of life, making the humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave increasingly dire and deeply distressing.

Local residents spend long hours digging through the rubble to rescue people trapped beneath. However, these efforts are severely hampered by a lack of resources and the absence of professional rescue teams, who have themselves become targets of Israeli forces.

"Palestinian blood continues to flow. The Israeli forces bombed this building, killing civilians and doctors, including a retired physiotherapist from Shifa Hospital and his wife; a university lecturer doctor and his wife; my cousin, his wife and their children. The attack resulted in 11 fatalities," said a resident involved in rescue operations.

Amid the devastation, residents managed to rescue a civilian trapped under the debris of a collapsed building hit by recent Israeli airstrikes.

Israeli troops continue to target civilians, striking residential buildings, displacement camps, and even hospitals.

"The victims include both residents and displaced civilians. Twelve people were killed, and most of them were young children. As you can see, we are struggling to retrieve their bodies, and there are many injuries. It is an overwhelming tragedy," said another resident.

In addition, the Israeli army has also besieged Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.
