An Iranian student studying in China said he hopes for greater collaboration between Iran and China and that the two peoples can deepen their cultural understanding of each other.

Abalfazl Delkhasteh, a student from Iran, is currently studying at the Tsinghua University in Beijing. He shared his wishes for 2025 in a global social media campaign "1,001 Wishes for 2025 #Hello2025" launched by China Global Television Network (CGTN).

"Hi, my name is Abalfazl. I'm from Iran. I'm a graduate student at Tsinghua University specializing in international relations and Chinese foreign policy. So in 2025, one of my goals is to use my skills to strengthen cultural understanding. As a content creator on Chinese platforms, I often post videos to introduce Iran to Chinese audiences in Chinese. I hope I can expand this effort by sharing my perspectives on China with [the rest of] the world. Looking ahead in 2025, I hope for greater collaboration between Iran and China. New Year. New dreams," he said, while also inviting others to join in the campaign.

The CGTN campaign is available in 81 languages.
