An online platform launched by the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office on Wednesday to gather reports from the public on secessionist forces' oppressive actions against patriots in the Taiwan region has received more than 300 emails on its first day, a spokesman for the office said, promising accountability for those who have been reported when sufficient evidence confirms their offenses.

The reporting platform, added to the official website of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council at 8:00 on Wednesday, received widespread public attention and 323 reporting emails by 17:00, according to Chen Binhua, the spokesman.

Chen told a press conference in Beijing that the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities have been fabricating various charges to suppress dissenting voices on the island, stifling freedom of speech, and resorting to threats, intimidation, and persecution against political opponents as well as political parties, organizations, and individuals who support the peaceful development and integration of cross-Strait relations.

"Certain Taiwan separatist organizations and individuals, public servants, as well as pro-DPP online influencers have acted as enforcers and accomplices, emboldening the DPP authorities in its wrongdoings. In response, a 'dedicated section for reporting the malicious acts of Taiwan separatist enforcers and accomplices in persecuting compatriots in Taiwan' has been launched today on the official website of the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office," Chen announced at the press conference.

The reported individuals include head of the interior of Taiwan region Liu Shyh-fang, members of the so-called "Legislative Yuan" Puma Shen Pao-yang, Rosalia Wu Szu-yao, and Huang Jie from the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), Taipei District Prosecutors Office prosecutors Lin Da, Lin Jun-yan, and Lin Jyun-ting, financial backer of the Kuma Academy Robert Tsao Hsing-cheng, pro-green dentist Silva Shih, and separatist influencers Wen Ziyu and Chen Po-yuan, Chen said.

The reporting emails received on the platform accused the above individuals of vile acts, such as fabricating charges to suppress opposition parties, threatening to dissolve patriotic pro-reunification groups, deliberately detaining people who support the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations, blatantly violating the legitimate rights and interests of mainland spouses, and clamoring to "hunt down" mainland spouses, according to Chen.

The victims of the suppression and persecution also expressed strong indignation in their emails, Chen added.

The office will verify the reported information and hold these enforcers and accomplices accountable based on facts and in accordance with the law, he said.

Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Yunnan Province, some 300 kilometers from the epicenter of the devastating earthquake in Myanmar, has swiftly mobilized relief supplies worth 1.1 million yuan (about 151,470 U.S. dollars) to support relief efforts in the affected areas in Myanmar.

On Saturday afternoon, 11 trucks loaded with relief supplies crossed the border into Myanmar through the Jiegao port in the border city of Ruili in Dehong.

These supplies include essential items such as rice, instant noodles, tents, bedding, and other daily necessities, as well as medical supplies including hydrogen peroxide, gauze bandages, and antibiotics.

"We have deployed personnel to work around the clock and opened a green emergency channel to ensure the prompt customs clearance of relief supplies, rescue teams, and inbound patients seek medical care," said Yang Biao, a staff member of Ruili Customs.

As of Saturday night, the 7.7-magnitude earthquake that jolted central Myanmar on Friday had resulted in 1,644 deaths, 3,408 injuries and 139 people missing, according to Myanmar's Information Team of the State Administration Council on Saturday night.
