Married school teacher went into sexual relationship with student

A popular married school teacher had a sexual relationship with her student. The incident was revealed by a jealous student who was a fan of the teacher.

In North Carolina, 23-year old Katherine Ross Ridenhour got married in 2015, and became a teacher at Cox Mill High School after her graduation in 2016. She is a coach of the school cheer squad, and teaches Economics. With her youthful and pretty looks, she became very popular with the students.

Recently, there were complaints against her for being too close with male students, and, in fact, one complaint claimed that she had engaged in a sexual act with a 17-year old student. The informant turned out to be a fan of Katherine. When he accidentally came across an intimate shot of her with his classmate, he was jealous and reported the matter to another teacher.

Katherine was arrested on the 15th and admitted to the sex act. She has been charged with two counts of harm to personal freedom, and has been dismissed by the school authorities.Although the male student said the sexual act was voluntary on his part, state laws forbid sexual relationship between a teacher and adolescent students. If convicted, Katherine faces imprisonment of up to 12 months.

The incident has shocked the school community, with many students expressing disappointment with Katherine. Parents are also worried that their children may have been harmed, and accuse the school of negligence.
