The Palestinian fatalities and injuries from the ongoing Gaza conflict have risen to 37,953 and 87,266, respectively, after 28 Palestinians were killed while 125 others injured in Israeli attacks in the past 24 hours, health authorities in the Palestinian enclave said on Wednesday.

Palestinian official news agency WAFA and Palestine TV reported on Wednesday that since the early morning of the day, the Israeli army had carried out shelling and air strikes in many areas of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City in northern Gaza Strip, Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza and Rafah in the south of the enclave.

The attack has killed at least 38 people and wounded many others. The Israeli side has not responded to this yet.

Also on Wednesday, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that they continued to fight with Israeli troops in Gaza City and Rafah on the day. In the Shuja'iya neighborhood, the Al-Qassam Brigades used mortars to attack Israeli soldiers and an Israeli command post. In Rafah, they hit two Israeli tanks by rockets.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement on Wednesday announcing that Israeli forces conducted military operations in many places of Gaza Strip.

In Shuja'iya area in the east of Gaza City, Israeli warplanes destroyed more than 50 targets. During the raid, the Israeli army found tunnel shafts used by Palestinian armed groups and a large amount of weapons and equipment. The Israeli army also confirmed that an Israeli commander was killed in the operation in the Shuja'iya area on the day.

In operations in the central Gaza Strip and south Gaza Strip's Rafah City, Israeli forces destroyed a number of Palestinian armed targets and killed several militants.

The Israeli Prime Minister's Office said in a statement on Wednesday that Israel was reviewing Hamas' reply to a deal proposal that secures a ceasefire in the Gaza war and the release of hostages.

Hamas also confirmed on the same day that they had "exchanged some new ideas" with the mediators on the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

By the end of Friday, the region has transmitted 801.4 billion kWh of electricity to other parts of China, with nearly 30 percent of the power mainly generated by new-energy sources.

Xinjiang is rich in energy resources, including wind and solar power, and boasts excess power-generation capacity. Making use of power-transmission channels built in recent years, the region now transmits electricity to 20 regions across China.
