In Beijing, parks and museums have managed to enhance the visitor experience by introducing new landmarks and cultural activities, captivating both locals and tourists.

Notably, the Beihai Park in the heart of the capital city has seen an impressive daily average of nearly 70,000 visitors in the first four days of the holiday that started on October 1.

In particular, the visitors were fascinated by the stunning flowerbeds against the background of the Nine-Dragon Wall, which is a type of screen wall with reliefs of nine different Chinese dragons typically found in ancient Chinese palaces and gardens. The Beihai Park, built in 1756, is one of the oldest and best-preserved imperial gardens in China.

Meanwhile, At the same time, an old brick factory built in the last century is attracting holidaymakers with its brand-new appearance.

Adorned with giant sculptures and large screens, along with diverse artistic activities such as magic performances and art exhibitions, this old factory has transformed into a beloved public cultural space for contemporary urban youth, all while preserving the memories of its era.

According to tourist Ren Fei, the blend of tradition and modernity of this brick factory has significantly enriched the visitor experience.

"It feels very good to visit here," Ren said.

In Rizhao City of east China's Shandong Province, the coastline is buzzing with activities as visitors enjoy beach sunbathing, shell collecting, and local cuisine.

"It feels good to come to the beach to relax. I think the local customs and other aspects are very pleasing here," said a tourist surnamed Xu.

The Ciqikou Ancient Town in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality has also seen a notable surge in popularity, averaging over 150,000 visits daily so far in the holiday. The vibrant atmosphere is amplified by the display of red flags and the town's rich history, drawing visitors eager to soak in the festive spirit.

"I feel that this place is very interesting and the buildings are quite antique, so I want to come here and take a look," said tourist Zhang Jinxin.
