China and India have reached a solution to the border issues, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian at a press briefing in Beijing on Tuesday.

"Lately, China and India have maintained close communication on the border issues through diplomatic and military channels. The two sides have reached a solution to the relevant issue. Going forward, China will work with India to implement the solution," Lin said.

Shenzhen, a national tech hub in south China's Guangdong province, has reported record-high foreign trade volume in the first three quarters of 2024.

The city's imports and exports reached 3.37 trillion yuan (473.27 billion U.S. dollars), up 20.9 percent year on year, according to Shenzhen Customs.

Shenzhen's foreign trade scale ranks first among cities on the Chinese mainland, contributing 35.9 percent to the national foreign trade growth in the same period.

Shenzhen's exports and imports both hit a record high, with exports up 19.7 percent year on year to 2.14 trillion yuan(300.52 billion U.S. dollars) and imports amounting to 1.23 trillion yuan (172.73 billion U.S. dollars), representing a 23.1 percent year-on-year increase.
