Canton Fair provides one-stop, full-chain trade services

Nearly 230 trade-serving enterprises are providing one-stop and full-chain services at the ongoing second phase of the 136th China Import and Export Fair, or the Canton Fair, in south China's Guangzhou.

The second phase of the 136th Canton Fair opened on Wednesday and will run till Sunday, showcasing latest the products, including building materials,furniture, household goods, as well as gifts and decorations.

Around 230 enterprises are showing their services that cover all aspects of trade in efforts to create more business opportunities for the 10,528 enterprises joining the second phase, including logistics and storage, import and export agency, cross-border payment, testing and certification, as well as finance and insurance.

Cross-border payment service providers are seeing large numbers of visitors at the exhibition.

One provider said they have opened a record number of accounts for clients from emerging markets, and are planning to expand cross-border settlements for currencies of ASEAN countries, as well as those from Africa and the Middle East.

"We can find a lot of products of good quality. Canton Fair prepares everything for you, so if you are a foreigner, if you don't live in China, if you don't speak Chinese, it's not a problem. So here you have people to help you to find the products, to talk with the suppliers," said a buyer from Brazil.

"I found here a lot of products I'm interested in, my company is interested in, such as ceramics and glassware. And I'm very happy to be around here and develop my business with products from China and with Chinese people along," said a buyer from Moldova.
