Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Saturday visited the Chinese-built construction site of the Expo 2027 venue in Belgrade, personally delivering Serbia's traditional delicacies, including "Pljeskavica" meat patties, to workers to express his gratitude for their hard work.

Gathering around a table, Vucic chatted with the Chinese and Serbian builders, emphasizing that Serbia's rapid progress in infrastructure development in recent years would not have been possible without their dedication.

The Expo 2027 project, a key symbol of cooperation between China and Serbia, is being built by a Chinese company.

Expo 2027 is set to welcome over 120 countries and 10 international organizations between May 15 and August 15, 2027, focusing on the importance of play, sports and music and their contribution to the development of humanity.
