Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend a welcome ceremony hosted by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in Brazil's capital Brasilia on Wednesday.

Xi arrived in Brasilia on Tuesday for a state visit to Brazil.

Xi traveled to Brasilia after attending the 19th G20 Leaders' Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Xi was warmly greeted by President Lula, after his car arrived at the Alvorada Palace, the official residence of the president of Brazil.
