Preparations for the second China International Supply Chain Expo, which will run from Tuesday to Saturday in Beijing, have been finalized, and this year's expo will see wider participation of both domestic and foreign enterprises and better showcase of cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions in supply chains.
Themed "Connecting the World for a Shared Future," the expo, has already seen nearly 700 exhibitors from 69 countries and international organizations stationed in the exhibition area.
The expo will showcase a diverse array of new products, new technologies, new processes and new materials across various industry chains, with over 70 products making their debut.
The event anticipates a robust turnout as registered visitors are pouring in from over 100 countries and regions. Notably, approximately 80 esteemed overseas buyer delegations will come to the expo, far more than that at the first expo.
"In the exhibition area, we have seen a larger number of enterprises compared to that at the first expo, demonstrating stronger representation and even more compelling products. We sincerely hope that both domestic and international enterprises will gain more through collaboration and alignment in the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of the supply chain," said Lin Shunjie, chairman of China International Exhibition Center Group.
At this year's expo, foreign exhibitors account for 32 percent of the total, compared with 26 percent a year earlier. European and U.S. companies contribute the largest share of overseas participation, accounting for 50 percent. Noteworthy is the remarkable presence of Fortune Global 500 and industry giants, accounting for over 60 percent of the total.
Compared to the previous year, this year's expo has witnessed a substantial uptick in the participation of Fortune Global 500 companies, China's Top 500 enterprises and China's Top 500 Private Enterprises, with an increase of 42 percent, 46 percent, and 70 percent, respectively.
