An event themed on intelligent construction was held in Beijing on Friday with synchronous documentary airing and a book release during the occasion.

The event was jointly hosted by the China Global Television Network (CGTN) and the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC).

The documentary titled "Architecture Intelligence" highlights the "hard technology" of Chinese construction in significant projects both domestically and internationally, demonstrating China's role in promoting green and sustainable development in countries joining Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) cooperation

It also explores how technological innovation can address the challenges faced by global cities.

The documentary will be broadcast on multiple domestic and international platforms including CGTN.

With a name of Building Lives, the book was compiled based on a series of reports made with the joint efforts of CGTN and CSCEC. Those reports have garnered 86 million views internationally, reaching a global audience of 360 million.

The book tells the stories of Chinese companies expanding overseas to conduct business, ultimately bringing benefits to the world.

It also highlights the fruitful results of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.

A project known as the Global Innovation Hub was also inaugurated at the event, with the goal of fully utilizing CGTN's media advantages to uncover and exhibit technology-empowered innovative cases across diverse fields, while attracting creative young talents worldwide.
