亞馬遜2日表示，最快4月9日，將透過聯合發射聯盟（ULA）的Atlas V 火箭，從佛州卡納維爾角空軍基地發射27顆Kuiper衛星。若各種條件不理想，發射日期仍可能延後。一旦Kuiper網路啟動，將使貝佐斯和億萬富豪馬斯克形成正面對決，搶攻低軌道衛星網路市場。
