英國每年3月的第二個星期一是英聯邦日（Commonwealth Day）。去年因抗癌治療而缺席的英王查爾斯三世與凱特王妃，今年均重返這一盛事。

凱特王妃當日身著紅色禮服、搭配紅帽，並佩戴來自已故女王伊莉莎白二世（Elizabeth II）與黛安娜王妃（Diana, Princess of Wales）的珠寶，為此次亮麗回歸增添無限優雅。

今年活動主題為「共榮共存」
去年，查爾斯三世與凱特王妃因抗癌治療缺席英聯邦日，今年兩人皆重新歸來。此次活動主題為「共榮共存」，查爾斯三世在致詞中強調「家庭、團結與和平」的價值，並呼籲各成員國緊密合作，相互支持發展。

此次亮相的凱特王妃神采奕奕，顯然已從漫長的抗癌治療中恢復，並重新投入日常公務活動。年初，她曾向大眾表達感謝，稱自己在病中體悟到人生的新方向，更加珍惜簡單而重要的事物，並希望大眾將目光聚焦於她積極參與的公益活動上。
